YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDYAre you a young adult aged 20-35 and looking for a deeper relationship with Christ and fellowship with other Catholic young adults?
Stella Maris now hosts a Young Adult Bible study on Mondays from 7-9pm in the Sedes Cottage
across from the main church and we would love to have you be a part of it!
The group is currently going through the Sunday Mass readings every week for the upcoming Sunday so as to get a more in-depth look at the context, history, message, and meaning behind the Sunday Scripture. It is a fruitful time of fellowship, prayer, community, and faith. If you are considering becoming a Catholic, or just interested in learning more about the Church in a friendly, informal environment, plan to attend RCIA Inquiry Classes. We will begin on Tuesday, September 10, at 6:30 p.m. There is no obligation, only an opportunity to learn. If interested, please call Jason Vaughan at (843) 883-3044 for more information.
- Religious Education classes will resume on Sunday, September 8th. Please be aware that two years of formation are required for both First Holy Communion and Confirmation; thus, 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th grades are considered to be required years. Stella Maris Family Game Night!On Friday, March 1st, Stella Maris hosted a Family Game Night for parishioners of all ages! There was pizza, lemonade, wine and beer provided to game contestants as they challenged one another to Chess, Candy Lane, Twister, Jenga, poker and more! -
Stella Maris Family Square Dance!Parishioners gathered on Friday, July 21st Friday for an evening of family square dancing! Families enjoyed a hotdog dinner and drinks provided by the Men's Club, lots of music and dancing dressed in everyone's Western best! -
Celebrating the 175th Anniversary
of Stella Maris Catholic Church!Our parishioners enjoyed a night of fun and festivities celebrating our 175th (+2!) Anniversary!
Beginning with Vespers, the night continued with food & drinks, live music, games and more! -
Stella Maris Burgers & Bingo!Stella Maris families recently gathered to kick off fall with good food, fellowship, and bingo in the parish hall - a memorable night was had by all! -
