Baptism

Active parishioners of Stella Maris should call the parish office at (843) 883-3108 to register for the Baptismal Preparation Class. This class is required for the parents’ of those having their first child baptized at Stella Maris. Parents may schedule and attend the class before the birth. Sponsors are invited but not required to attend. 

Baptisms should be celebrated on Sunday. Normally, we gather after the 11:30 A.M. for the celebration of the Sacrament. Father McInerny is usually the celebrant for Baptisms on the first Sunday of each month. Deacon Vaughan and Fr. Michael are available for Baptims on other Sundays. Parents who want to schedule on other Sundays can request their dates through Deacon Vaughan.
