2024 March for Life in Washington, D.C.

We are happy to announce that we have reserved a bus for the March for Life in Washington, D.C., this January! We need 56 people to fill the bus. Children and teens are welcome on this trip when accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult; no solo travelers under the age of 18.

with excursions to DC on Thursday and Friday

Itinerary:
Thursday - leave Mount Pleasant around 5:30 AM

Get dropped off at around 2 or 2:30 PM at the March for Life Expo at the Renaissance D.C. Downtown Hotel

Around 4:15 PM: 
Leave Expo to go to Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

After Mass, check into hotel

Late dinner on your own (restaurants are available within walking distance of the hotel and in the hotel itself)


FRIDAY ITINERARY:

Early morning: Free breakfast at hotel

8:30 to 10:30 AM National Prayer Service at DAR Constitution Hall 

Speakers include Bishop Joseph Strickland, Mark Houck, and Frank Pavone!

Go to March for Life in DC: 

March for Life Rally Noon to 1 PM

March for Life: 1 PM to 4 PM
DRESS WARMLY for the March!

Dinner on your own near or at the hotel; they have a free Manager's Reception every evening from 5:30 to 7:00

Saturday itinerary:

Free breakfast at hotel
Head back to Mount Pleasant SC around 10 AM

Hotel:

A block of 20 rooms has been reserved at the Embassy Suites. Rate is about $135 a night, taxes included. A link to register for the hotel rooms will be given once we know we can fill the bus. 

Each hotel room includes 1 King bed and 1 Queen pull-out sofa. Breakfast is included at the hotel, and there is an indoor swimming pool.

Bus:

The bus fare is approximately $150 per person and will be collected once we know we can fill the bus. Bus fare will be paid via a check to Stella Maris Catholic Church. Gratuity for the bus driver is included in this price.

Other costs:

Meals and incidentals. Breakfast is included in the cost of your hotel room for Friday and Saturday mornings.
